When are auditions?
Auditions usually happen each year at the end of the summer. We occasionally have flash auditions mid season if we are able to add more dancers to our roster. For the 2024-2025 season our auditions are in July. More information can be found on the Auditions page of our website.
2. How can I audition?
In order to audition dancers must have filled out the registration form, paid their fee, and attended ALL mandatory audition dates.
3. Do I need experience to audition?
No experience is needed! However, when auditioning we are looking at how coachable dancers are, their energy, and passion for the art of dance. At the very least, dancers should be willing to learn and take direction.
4. What are the audition requirements?

5. Can I sign my child up for classes?
Elite Empire is not a recreational team or studio with classes. We are a competition team, and do not offer sessional classes. We can, however, offer membership on our team.
6. What are dance styles/classes my dancer can take elsewhere to prepare themselves for the team?
Each dance style has transferable skills, and dancers can learn stage presence, confidence, musicality, and technique through them! Some classes/styles we highly recommend are Jazz, Hip Hop, and Cheer.
7. How long is one Season?
Each season runs from August-August, with the opportunity for dancers to drop midway.
8. When does Elite Empire Compete & Perform?
Elite Empire spends an average of 1-2 months training prior to performing and 2-3 prior to competing. Competitions happen year round after that period. Each season we average around 4-6 competitions, and 5+ performances.
